CURRICULUM

Five Courses · The Return · Seven Steps

From self-regulation to narrative discernment, intentional communication, responsible facilitation and real systems change. Progress is shown through work you make and use in ordinary life, not through adopting special vocabulary.

A developing framework. BridgeWalker University is not accredited and does not grant degrees. Courses are in design and pilot preparation; results claims wait on real learner evidence.

THE COURSES

FLAME 101Embodying the SignalNotice an internal state, interrupt the automatic reaction, choose a deliberate response.
PracticeBuild a personal signal ritual or plain-language protocol, then use it in at least one unscripted, emotionally charged situation.
EvidenceTrigger, impulse, chosen intervention and resulting action; a before-and-after account; a correction record if the approach fails.
Carries into lifeOrdinary conflict, pressure, disappointment, or a consequential decision.
Earlier working title: Energy Alchemy and Sovereignty
MYTH 212Telling Your True Origin StoryTell apart established fact, inherited story, symbolism, interpretation and chosen meaning.
PracticeWrite or perform your origin story, then mark which parts are factual, inherited, symbolic, interpreted, or consciously chosen.
EvidenceClaim-and-evidence notes; at least one inherited narrative named; one concrete behavior that changed after reinterpretation.
Carries into lifeMeeting a family, shame, role or approval trigger from a chosen interpretation while keeping the facts intact.
Earlier working title: Lore, Language, and Origin Stories
SOUND 330Spells for the FieldUse voice, sound, language and framing on purpose.
PracticeProduce a three-minute sound work, then show the same skill in an ordinary conversation without leaning on BWU terms.
EvidenceThe finished piece; its intended effect; a plain-language translation; a real communication example and how it landed.
Carries into lifeSetting a boundary, stating an intention, de-escalating, persuading openly, or explaining meaning in everyday words.
Earlier working title: Voice Notes and “Sound as Spell”
FIELD 404Guiding from the In-BetweenStay steady and accountable when a person, group or open situation adds pressure.
PracticeDesign and lead a small circle or one-to-one session that includes an unscripted change requiring judgment.
EvidenceA facilitation plan; a consent and scope statement; what happened; feedback where fitting; a correction log; a record of when to stop, refer or say “I don’t know.”
Carries into lifeResponding well when someone disagrees, gets distressed, rejects the frame, changes the plan, or needs help beyond your skill.
Earlier working title: Threshold Holding and Ritual Design
BRIDGE 511Hacking the Grid with GraceRead a real system, act on it carefully, observe the result and revise.
PracticeName a real condition and the change you want; map the system; design and carry out a bounded intervention.
EvidenceProblem definition; system map; assumptions and unknowns; the intervention itself; proof it was done; the observed result; the revision.
Carries into lifeImproving something concrete in work, bureaucracy, money, technology, housing, business or community.
Earlier working title: System Hacking and Creative Disruption
THE RETURNSelf-Correcting SovereigntyBring every course together on one real problem, without step-by-step direction.
PracticeCarry one problem you choose through diagnosis, action, consequence, correction and continuing on your own.
EvidenceThe problem record; what is known and unknown; the basis for decisions; communications; proof of action; consequences; the correction loop; a plain-language explanation.
Complete whenYou show the full cycle in more than one setting and keep going without needing BWU to approve your identity or judgment.

HOW PROGRESS IS SHOWN

The Correction LoopName an error plainly, correct it, and confirm the correction worked.
The Tuesday Afternoon TestThe skill works on an ordinary, unscripted, concrete problem.
Claim & EvidenceLabel every claim: verified, operational, model, symbolic, or unknown.
Plain-Language TranslationExplain and use the skill without BridgeWalker terms.

Mythic and symbolic language stays welcome. It is labeled as model or symbol, never presented as proven fact.

THE SEVEN-STEP PATH

  1. The Forgetting
    Recognize inherited stories and assumptions.
  2. The Signal
Notice the experiences worth reflecting on.
  3. The Code
Name your strengths, identity and chosen direction.
  4. The Mirror
Examine yourself honestly; separate what you observed from what you made of it.
  5. The Temple
Turn reflection into embodied, creative work.
  6. The Flame Circle
Lead and share with others, with clear boundaries.
  7. The Return
Carry it into continuing practice and correct yourself as you go.

THE TEMPLE: BODY & RECOVERY

Step 5 grounds the work in the body. This is the founder’s recovery stack from the Applied Curriculum Handbook (Avatar Maintenance MODEL), in the founder’s words, each with its evidence status.

Evidence key: Established = well documented for this use. Mixed = some studies support it, others don’t. Not clinically verified = no controlled studies confirm the stated use. Traditional use = documented practice across generations. Some supplements interact with medications.

GROWTH LEVELS

0Not yet shown: no usable work or evidence; the decision or result can’t be explained.
1Guided: done with prompts; evidence partial or the real-life use still hypothetical.
2Independent: the work is made and used in one real situation, explained, and corrected.
3Transfer: used in a different, unscripted setting, consequences recorded, corrected, and continued without prompting.

Ready for The Return means Level 3, more than once, in more than one setting. Draft levels, to be tested in the pilot.
